1. Is this a DC fast charger or an AC charger?

This is a portable AC charging device. It supplies AC electricity to the vehicle, and the vehicle’s onboard charger converts it into DC electricity for the battery. The 3.5kW and 7kW versions are intended for AC charging rather than high-power DC fast charging.

2.Can I keep this charger in my car for travel or emergency charging?

Yes. Its compact all-in-one design makes it convenient to carry as a backup charging option. You still need a compatible, suitable AC power outlet at your destination. The charger does not store energy, so it cannot charge a vehicle without an external power supply.

3.Can I upgrade the 3.5kW version to 7kW through the app?

No. Current adjustment operates within the charger’s rated hardware limits. An app setting cannot turn a 3.5kW-rated unit into a 7kW-rated unit. To charge at approximately 7kW, you need the appropriate charger version, a suitable power connection and a vehicle that supports the required current.

4.Why is my EV connected but not charging?

Check whether the power supply is available, the connector is fully inserted, and the vehicle has a charging schedule or has already reached its charge limit. Review any messages on the charger display and vehicle screen. If a fault remains, provide the displayed error and vehicle details for troubleshooting.
