Primecom's 32A portable charger combines adaptive current control with multiple safety certifications, targeting electric-vehicle owners who need a portable charging option capable of adjusting to different power conditions. The device is rated for 240V operation and uses a Type-2 IEC 62196 connector, according to the product specifications. It also includes delayed charging and a 12-layer protection system.
The charger's control system uses an embedded chip to monitor charging current in real time and adjust it to match the vehicle's battery-management requirements. The manufacturer says the dynamic adjustment is intended to optimize charging efficiency and maintain stability across different grid conditions.
The unit is rated at 32A and 240V. It has a cable length of about 10 meters (28 feet), an IP55 ingress-protection rating for dust and water resistance, and a UL94V-0 flame-retardancy rating.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Rated current | 32A |
| Operating voltage | 240V |
| Cable length | Approx. 10 m (28 ft) |
| Connector | Type-2 IEC 62196 |
| Ingress protection | IP55 (water and dust resistant) |
| Flame retardancy | UL94V-0 |
Safety is a primary criterion for EV charging equipment. Primecom says the charger has passed several international certification programs and includes protections for lightning, leakage, overvoltage, overtemperature and overcurrent.
The device carries TÜV and CE certification, meeting European electrical-safety standards, according to the specifications. Its cable is UL Listed, and the built-in system integrates 12 safety protection mechanisms to address sudden electrical faults.
The charger includes a delayed-start function that can be set for up to nine hours in one-hour increments. This is designed to allow charging during off-peak electricity periods, when tariffs may be lower.
A control box with LED indicators shows charging status and device feedback. The Type-2 IEC 62196 connector is intended for compatibility with many EV models in Europe and other markets, from compact cars to large SUVs, provided the vehicle uses the same interface standard.
The unit is positioned as a portable charging device for routine use, with the delayed-start and status-monitoring functions intended to support everyday charging management.
